   Is it OK to enable XML-RPC ? For example, to use posterous or WordPress app from iPhone?

   As of Wordpress 2.6, the XML-RPC API is disabled by default. A google search will guide you to some discussions on the topic:

   There are some security concerns to enabling the interface, but I can't really say how serious those concerns are...
