Just went to clear the cache, using the wp-cache plugin. Got this error message:

Main optionsError: Your WP-Cache config file (/var/www/vhosts/thinkinghomebusiness.com/httpdocs/wordpress/wp-content/wp-cache-config.php) is not writable by the Web server.
    Check its permissions.
Cannot continue... fix previous problems and retry.

Did you try to update your wp-cache plugin yourself?

Or did you edit your wp-cache-config.php file? It does not look like the one we installed...

I just changed your wp-cache-config.php file back to the default one, and your wp-cache is working fine now. Please make sure you don't disabale this plugin, unless you need to do some testing of your templates (it's often useful to disable Wp-cache when testing out templates), in which case be sure to re-activate it.

Problem as two months ago has recurred. Not conscious of doing anything deliberately to disable the plugin, but have tested some templates and now see that it wd have been a good idea to follow your advce and disable the wp-cache when testing the templates and later re-activate it.
