   Now I have installed three different plugins, one at a time. In each case, the plugin appeared under "currently active plugins." However, it didn't actually work, and the number on the upper right over the word plugins remained at 2. How might I fix this, and get a plugin to work?

   The number above the word indicates the number of plugins which need an update, not the number of currently active plugins...
