User accounts being created

I am noticing that every day or so user accounts are being created on my wordpress blog. I have no idea who these users are and to date they have not posted, but I am worried that they are being created to be used for spam or some other undesirable purpose, any idea what they are and whats going on anyone? Also Is there a way to stop users creating accounts?

These are the accounts created so far

Yes, they would be spammers creating accounts assuming it will allow them to post spam comments on your blog. The mail.ru domains are a dead giveaway.

If you enable "Anyone can register" at the Options > General tab in your blog control panel, well that means that anyone can register at your blog. And you are seeing folks who registered. It doesn't necessarily mean they can get away with anything as registered users that they wouldn't be able to get away with as unauthenticated users, but if you prefer you can delete the accounts and/or disable registration.
