Your security certificate is a shared certificate so you will see this message. It does not mean the connection is not secure, it just means that the address on the certificate does not match your site address. Which will be the case, as an SSL certificate for your domain might cost $100 or so...</p> <p>So just click through the messages and you will get to the control panel. Open that, and look for <em>wp-content</em>. For some reason, our FTP service seems to be resetting itself back to the default config. Sorry about that, I just took care of that.</p> <p><em>So I went to Support to submit a ticket but my login and password did not work, on three or so tries.</em></p> <p>Make sure you are using the login for our ordering system, the one you created when you ordered hosting. It's not the same password as your Plesk hosting control panel or your Wordpress account.</p> <p><em>I'm trying to work via the Plesk control panel, but can't see there how I can change the permissions on a file.</em></p> <p>Yes, doing that via FTP is best.</p> <p>Just curious, what files do you need to change permissions on and why? Use the "www" version and that will work in 99% of all cases. Look in your email for a message with the subject of "Hosting Order Status".
